On October 25th 2024, Y1 Custom had an exciting visit to Cardiff Metropolitan University as the official leisurewear partner with Cardiff Met SU Sport. We were thrilled to be part of the Freshers Fayre, showcasing our custom clothing offerings to both new and returning students for the upcoming academic year. Despite it being the rainiest day imaginable, the energy and enthusiasm on campus made it a fantastic experience.
Beyond promoting our custom leisurewear, the Y1 team had a great time engaging with the Cardiff Met community, collecting valuable product feedback, and creating fun content for both our social media channels. We loved being able to connect with students, share our designs, and have a bit of fun, rain or shine!
We also took the opportunity to gather hands-on customer feedback on our range of fully bespoke products, including our wide-leg joggers, Cotton 1/4 zips, gilets, boonies, and, of course, the Retro Quarter Zip fleeces. Hearing directly from students about what they loved and what they’d like to see improved was incredibly valuable for us as we strive to make the best possible custom clothing for our community.
It wouldn’t have been a proper Y1 Custom event without some games, giveaways, and challenges! We ran several fun activities that got students involved, offering them the chance to win freebies and exclusive Y1 Sport merch. From quick challenges to spontaneous trivia, everyone was eager to participate, making it an entertaining day filled with plenty of prizes and Y1 goodies.
